Carmelina Montelongo 

 

Is a visionary business designer and financial strategist devoted to the global Wellness industry. Passionate about wellness and numbers in equal measure, she brings soul to strategy— merging inspirational vision with financial discipline to create wellness brands that breathe magic while delivering lasting ROI.

 

After nine years as a Financial Controller at Nestlé Mexico and Nestlé Switzerland, Carmelina chose to follow her true calling. She moved to the Yucatán Peninsula, where nature, ancestral wisdom, and local storytelling inspired her to found Sisi Studio, a consulting firm dedicated to designing transformative business models for the Wellness industry. 

 

In 2016, she led the opening of Chablé Yucatán, the first spa and wellness destination of Chablé Hotels, an achievement that became a life-changing experience. The project not only redefined her professional path but also deepened her understanding of wellness as a journey of transformation, presence, and authenticity. She later created and taught the Spa & Wellness Financial Management Course at UC Irvine, California, shaping a new generation of professionals to bring business intelligence into the world of wellbeing. 

Mariana Guzman 

 

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has been a partner at Sisi Studio since 2019, working alongside her sister Carmelina Montelongo to create spaces capable of healing both body and soul; spaces born from a sense of magic and intention.

 

With over 14 years of experience in the banking sector, Mariana built a successful career in Investment and Corporate Banking, holding positions at institutions such as BBVA and HSBC.

 

After the pandemic in 2021, she chose to make a profound shift in her professional path, stepping away from corporate life to invest her time and resources in startups focused on transforming lives, including Sisi Studio, through the power of Wellness.

 

In recent years, Mariana has given several talks on Financial Wellness, advocating it as the foundation for building a healthier and more conscious life.
